THE PLAYER'S GUIDE TO FAIR PLAY

Tennis is a game that requires cooperation and courtesy. Points played in good faith are counted. All points played in good faith stand. For example, if after losing a point, a player discovers that the net was four inches too high, the point stands. If a point is played from the wrong court, there is no replay. If during a point, a player realizes that a mistake was made at the beginning (for example, service from the wrong court), the player shall continue playing the point. Corrective action may be taken only after a point has been completed. Shaking hands at the end of a match is an acknowledgment by the players that the match is over.

Player Guidelines:
  • Players coordinate with each other for a mutually agreeable time and location to play (Complete each match within the window specified on the bracket).
  • Both players should bring a new can of tennis balls to each match.  One can is used during the match, while the unopened can is awarded to the match winner as a mini-trophy.
  • All matches are best 2 out of 3-sets, with a tie-breaker played at 6-all.
  • After the match is complete, report the match results to the tournament director - Select the Scores tab on the home-page, text, email, phone, or tweet to #towertennis
  • Refer to the bracket for your next opponent, and repeat process.
